Hi!
I have not used LR for the last two years. My LR catalogue contains 200.000 photos and I desperatly want to see and handle these photos.
I started the Photography plan 2013. I have Windows 10 and my hardware doesn't allow me to update to Windows 11.
Today I logged in on my Adobe ID. When I click the latest LR catalogue the question on trial comes. Why trial, I have payed since 2013!
I am scared to update to the latest LR version since my old computer hardware may not be compatible.
I really likes LightRoom and it's a perfect way to get an overview of my photos and make collections. I can't handle my photos without LR.
Please, can anyone advice me how to proceed?
Regards
Lotta from Sweden
I think you are "caught between a rock and a hard place." and you will have little chance of restoring a catalog without a system upgrade.

Windows 10 (version 22H2) is required for Lr-Classic. Do you have Win version 22H2 installed?

Are you logging in through the Adobe Creative Cloud App?
Try logging out, restart your computer and log in again.
As a last resort, uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud and reinstall.

Hi,
I just logged in after 2 years. My CreateCloud app was updated yesterday.
My plan is to keep the old CC versions (of LR, PS and bridge) that I have since I cannot update to Win-11 with myold HW.
Maybe I selected to update LR two years ago, I don't remember.
Sooo much work is in the LR--catalogue I last used with LR CC.
Current versions of PS and LR are incompatible. How can Adobe support me with earlier versions that supports my HW?

Adobe will only support the current and two previous versions of Lr-Classic, so I would expect that a chat with Customer Support (asking for an older version) will not be successful.
If you were using the catalog with "Lightroom CC 2015" (ie. the subscribed version of Lightroom v6) AND you have a Serial Registration Number, then you may be able to install Version 6.14 that would open the catalog (Note that catalogs are not 'backwards compatible'.). You would need to wipe all Adobe programs off your system, find a download for v6, and activate 'offline'- But I cannot offer more advice other than suggest this link- Information regarding Lightroom 6.x (Pre-Lr... - Page 4 - Adobe Product Community - 15172714

Your screen-clip suggests you have installed Lightroom v6 (the old legacy version from 2015).
If you do currently subscribe (and payments up to date) to the Photography Plan (with Lightroom-Classic) then follow the advice from @KR Seals and install Lightroom-Classic v14.5.1 (if not already installed).

Hi
Thanks for your advice. You are both Windows-11 users. Can you guarantee that the latest Lightroom-Classic v14.5.1 will work with Windows 10?
How can I find a swedish support person to talk to? I just want to have access to my old 200.000 photos. I am not planning to do much editing in the future.
Does anyone know if there will be problems with LR when the support for Win-10 ends next week?
Looking for information on how earlier Windows versions connects to LR versions.
It worked 2 years ago. Maybe I selected to update to a later LR version (can't remember two years back)
Thanks.
Lotta

Lightroom Classic 14.5.1 runs on Windows 10 (see here). I don't expect any problems with LrC when Microsoft ends support for Windows 10, as neither the software nor the operating system has changed. According to this document: "But I'm just emphasizing that it isn't true that Windows 10 will stop working in mid-October, it'll keep running just fine - only without any monthly updates."
I have no idea how to find a Swedish support person.
