Hi,
After switching from gopro 5 to gopro 10, the videos are almost all under HEVC codec and Lightroom cannot play them.
They will therefore no longer be in our database, workflow and we may no longer see them.
This needs to be corrected please
Yet Adobe says it supports HEVC files.

and the videos https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/video-support-lightroom.html
don't tell me to shoot in modes that are not HEVC since there is almost only 4k 30 fps left, but I would like to shoot simple memories in 1080 24 fps
please be up to date and support video in HEVC codec completely, this is the future, all video will be in this format, thank you

"Although modern camera devices provide the capability to capture HEIF/.heic photos and HEVC (H.265) videos, Lightroom and Camera raw support only HEIF/.heic files created with iOS devices."

Rick, I'm confused by your reply. In Lightroom Classic, I have viewed h265 clips from Panasonic G9.

Hello, ok I did not pay attention to this paragraph thank you.
Do you plan to support HEVC video from other brands?
I believed that it was a codec so that when we manage to decode it, whoever produces it, the decryption recipe is the same.
I really need my photos and video to be managed by the same software.
I just tried On1 Photo Raw 2021 and it works great for playing, tag and other founction with my GoPro HEVC videos,
Lightroom however has many more subscribers, programmers and budgets.
Would you consider supporting non-Apple HEVC video?
Thank you
