How to get effects in masks on Lightroom Classic

New Here ,
Mar 03, 2023 Mar 03, 2023

When I open a mask the "preset" tab is shown how do I change this to "effect". Pressing the tab has no effect. I can only make one adjustment at a time.

Hi @billg36552774

Thanks for reaching out.

Which version of the application are you using? What editing are you trying to do on the masked area?

Please check this for masking and local adjustments: https://helpx.adobe.com//lightroom-classic/help/masking.html

Let us know if this helps.

Do you see a small triangular arrow, at the right hand side of the panel header, horizontally across from the word 'preset'? Clicking that triangle acts as an expand / collapse button, for the detailed local adjustment settings below.

The effects are shown below the preset picker, starting with "Tone." Make sure you have the mask selected before working on adding the effects.
