how to globally update to current develop version in "calibration"?

How can globally update develop version in "calibration" to current? older photos cant use AI masks. I have thousands that need updating.

Please note that by changing globally to current process version, your photos could change their appearance. If that doesn't bother you, then in the Library Module select Library->Find Previous Process Photos, then Select All, go to the Develop Module, turn on auto-Sync, change the process version, turn off Auto-Sync.

 

Or less difficult, when you get to a photo that you want to update the process version, in the Develop Module click on the Lightning bolt icon under the histogram. Which also gives

Or less difficult, when you get to a photo that you want to update the process version, in the Develop Module click on the Lightning bolt icon under the histogram. Which also gives you the option to see if you like the changed image appearance, and Undo if desired.

If there is something systematic that you want to do afresh to these images across the board, you can make a preset which not only includes an imposition of latest Process Version, but also prepares a starting point for the new adjustments which using this new PV is going to permit. 

 

For example, a pre-made set of (suitably named) Masks. Any masks with AI behaviour will just need an AI Update to tell them to adapt themselves to the particular content of whatever image they now find themselves within.

It's probably easier to Select All in Library module Grid View, then use Photo > Develop Settings > Update to Current Process Version
