How to load .xml file as Preset insteal of Profile

I bought a few new presets and when I import to LR, they load as Profile.

I want them to be displayed as Presets so I have more control over the sliders. How do I get them to show up as Presets instead of Profiles?

Also, what program can I use to read and edit these .xml files? I want to read the parameters that have been adjusted on these .xml files

Thank so much,

If they load as profiles, then they are profiles, not presets. You can't change that. You can read the contents of an XML file in a text editor.
