how to migrate photos and catalog files created by lightroom (ver6.1 win10) to lightroom cc (Mac) ?

I'm going to upgrade my lightroom version 6.1 running under windows 10 to lightroom cc running under Mac0S. Before I make the upgrade, I need to know how to migrate the photos and catalogue files created by lightroom (ver 6.1) into the lightroom cc. Your assistance will be much appreciated.

Are you talking about moving to the new Lightroom (Lr icon) or the new Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)? There is no software named "lightroom CC".

And regarding this lightroom version 6.1 thatt you want to migrate from — is it the approximately 8-10 years old Lightroom 6.1, or the very new Lightroom 6.1???
