How to restore image edits on images that have been " removed from lightroom?

New Here ,

I accidentally removed the wrong folder when trying to get rid of duplicates while merging catalogs. The folder that i removed had all my edits on and i was left with the image duplicates that are raw still.

Is there any way to restore these edits? Where do the imges that get : removed from lightroom" go?

Your Edit History is only stored in the Catalog.

If you 'Removed' a Folder from the current catalog, your only way to recover the edits will be from a previous 'Backup' Catalog that has those edits.

(If you deleted image files from Disk- then that will also require restoration of the files to the Drive as they were previously located.)

See this blog for recovering info from a Backup catalog-
