I'm transitioning from LR4 on an older iMac to LR CC Classic on a new Macbook Air.

How do I transfer several LR catalogs to the new Macbook?

Thanks for any assistance, Adobe themselves have been spectacularly unhelpful.

How?- Copy and Paste the Catalog .LRCAT files from 'old' to 'new' systems. (Like you would Document or Spreadsheet files). As you will also do for all your Photo files.

That's the summary answer. It would be an advantage to you to read this link for better details-

Move Lightroom to a new computer? | The Lightroom Queen

When you [double-Click] a (Lr4) Catalog in the new system- Lr-Classic will ask you to upgrade a copy of the catalog (accept for each catalog you have).  MODIFY THE CATALOG NAME in the upgrade dialog!

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
