How to update LRC?

I just realized lightroom classic is not updating.  I currently have version 11.2 & just noticed version 12.4 has been releasd last April. I'm running on MacOS 12.0.1  When I click on the updates button nothing happens.  no error just nothing.  Any ideas how to fix this? What am I doing wrong?

First try an Un-install and re-install (or the 'Repair' method) of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App- Details here-
