I would like to pin catalogs to the File>Open Recent menu. Is that possible?

I shoot a lot of different jobs every year. I work in two primary catalogs - one for business and one for persion - but I create a separate backup catalog for each job. This means if I am doing a lot of backup work, my two primary catalogs disappear from my "recently opened" list. I would like to pin those two catalogs so I always have easy access to them.

No, there's no way to do what you describe.

Maybe just double click on the catalogues in Finder/Explorer or add shortcuts to them on your desktop.
