Hi, over the last few weeks when I import files into Lightroom they show file in the Libary module, but when I click over to the Develop Module I get a white screen and the left & right panels are greyed out. After a short while, the images appear and I can edit

I am running the Mac M1 Mini 2020 and have the latest version of LR - 11.4.1

Can someone advise what is causing this please?

Thanks

I assume no-one has any ideas as to what's causing this then?

Hi, sorry for late reply. I tried this and it didnt make any difference. I am now having to just put up with waiting for several minutes when first opening files in Develop 😞

Are the images on a network or external drive or on the internal SSD? This sounds like something is blocking IO access to your files. If you have any devices connected through USB try disconnecting them.
