Import from card reader preview

I’m using Lightroom Classic release  11.1  camera row 14.1 on my IMAC retina 5k, 27 inch, late 2014 .

Now I’m finding a problem in the preview during import activity  from card readers: the previews are gray reporting preview not available for this file . If I copy the images on the hard disk of my Mac and import in Lightroom from the hard disk I can see the preview and everything work properly.

In the past and with previous release I was able to import directly from card reader and preview were displayed properly.

I noted also that sometimes a pop-up message notifies the impossibility to open CHUC app.
Could it be related as this app. How may I solve the problem ?

What MACOS?

And did you recently update it from pre Catalina?

Corrent version MacOS is Big Sur 11.6.2 ; I am not sure the problem is related to update from Catalina to Big Sur .

Thank you for your interest, Problem Solved.

Exploring OS setting I found in Setting/Securty and privacy/ Files and Folders that Ligtroom classic was not allowed to access remuval volumes . By selecting remuval the problem is solved.

Sorry the not responding APP is colled CUH, that for what I found it is related to file access in same application as Corel . Conseguently I removed alla Corel Applicaton from my Mac but sometimes the pop up message still appeare.

I'have noted that CUH not respondig pop up comes from CleanMyMac X App so my be a false notification  as i do not have any Corel application installed . I do not know if Lighterrom uses CUH App
