In Windows 10 I selected the correct color profile as default but photos from different catalog are still gray. I tried to add photo from original location and got this error. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'm attempting to move photos from external hard drive to LrC catalog on current computer.

I figured it out. The gray thumbs show in the source folder in LrC but they are correct in the target folder. The goal is to delete the source files and folders and older catalogs once everything is confirmed in the current catalog.

I've been using LR since it began and, several computers later, my photos exhibit my poor organization. My goal is to get organized and reduce the photo quantity for benefit of my adult children who will need to take over one of these days. I'm watching LR organizing ideas on YouTube. If you have one to recommend, I'd like to adopt something simple. Thx.
