Import Function is extremely slow

After upgrading CPU and Motherboard my import function is extremely slow. I get the message "Der Zielordner ist nicht verfügbar. Statt dessen wird der Ordner "Pictures" verwendet." The program is searching the whole memory taking quit long time and even after finding the respective folder, it takes long time to select key words etc. Has anybody an idea how to fix that?

The destination folder is not available. Instead, the folder "Pictures" is used.

Whatever folder has been chosen as the Destination folder in the Import dialog box does not exist (perhaps the drive is not plugged in, or the drive is not turned on, or some other issue). So you can't import to that folder. You need to fix that issue. Plugging in the drive or turning it on will solve the problem. Or, you want to change the Destination folder in the Import dialog box to some place that does exist.

When you say that importing is extremely slow, how slow? Does even one photo get imported?
