Import individual photos from Apple Photos

I do not want to import all my Apple photos.  A while ago a member of this community gave me instructions about how to import only specific photos.  Unfortunately I can't find those emails and am not sure of the steps.  Most grateful for any help.

Select the images in Apple Photos and export them as 'Unmodified Original'. Then import them in Lightroom just like any other photo.
