Merci beaucoup !

The preview shown by the Import module is the preview embedded in the raw file by the camera and 100% reflects the camera vendors internal processing recipe. Unfortunately, this recipe is not available in Lightroom Classic or any other third party raw editor that I'm aware of. The closest that can be achieved in LrC is to use Adobe's camera matching profiles for the your Sony A7III

Oki ! Thank you ! I will shoot in JPG next time to keep this recipe I really like and will do minor editing on the JPG, I don't think it will alter the quality of the photo too much, isn't it ?

Thank you a lot for your answer and for your time !

Edits applied to any photo within LrC are done at catalog / preview level. Therefore, other than possibly adding edit data in the form of XMP (see attached screenshot for required settings), the original file is untouched. A new file will be created when you export the photo. This means that even deep edits are less likely to significantly impact on quality than would be the case if editing the original file directly (e.g. editing in Photoshop without layers).

Note that below are for information only. I tend not to recommend that users enable either of these options.

add xmp to jpeg.png
