Hi @Pablo Bigorra, Welcome to the Lightroom Classic forums! Let's troubleshoot a few things first to try to fix this issue.

Here are a couple of things to check:

1. Import Filters: In the Import window, please make sure you're not filtering by flagged photos. Look for any filter options in the import grid's top bar or the source panel on the left.

2. Library Module Filters: If the photos are already imported but only flagged ones are visible, go to the Library module and press the \ key to open the Filter Bar. Click "Attribute" and ensure the flag filter isn't selected.

Let us know if that helps or if you still see the issue, and we can try something else! ^CH

Hi @Pablo Bigorra, Here is an article that might help you with importing your photos: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/importing-photos-lightroom-basic-workflow.html

If that doesn't work, please let me know which camera you are using, how you import the photos (card or tethered), and your System Information.

You can find this by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here. Thanks! ^CH

Hi @Pablo Bigorra, while the star rating in camera can help filter images, you can't directly import only starred images into Lightroom Classic without going through Adobe Bridge or another software to filter and then import only the starred photos.

1. Star the photos in-camera.

2. Open Adobe Bridge and filter just the starred images. Drag them from Bridge and drop them on the Lightroom Classic application window or icon

3. Open Lightroom when the Import dialog box pops up:

  • If the images are still on the camera card, click the Copy option and select the folder where you want to store the images permanently. (If the image files are loose on the desktop, click the Move option and select the destination folder.)
  • If the images are already in the folder where you want to store them on your Mac, click the Add option to catalog them where they already are.

To reiterate, Lightroom Classic does not have a native filter to import based on star ratings during the import process. You can always filter and display your starred photos within Lightroom Classic after they've been imported and reviewed. The steps would look like this: Import all the files. Rate your images. In the library module, create a filter that shows only non-rated images.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. I hope this helps! ^CH
