Later the issue was fixed after running several updates for v11. I assume it is the same issue again as far as nothing else was changed but the update to v12.
Now after updating to v12 (latest version) on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017, Monterey 12.6) it happens again.
- 4,000 Images located NAS (1 folder) and to be imported (Sony RAW and iPhone HEIC)
- Target folder gets e.g. 213 new images and than import stucks
- "Current import" counts to e.g 8 (wrong count) new images only and count stops (after restarting LRc the count is right)
- "Fix": quit LRc and abort import, restart LR, restart import, wait until LR determins images to be imported and run into the same issue (again and again and again... it is so annoying). BTW: the amount of imported images is different (somtems twenty something, sometimes 100-200)
