Importing images

Hi I dont know why, but since a couple days ago when I want to import images from a file I have in my computer to LrC it not only imports to LrC but also duplicates the files again in the original folder.

That never happened to me before. I used to import the files to lightroom and that was it. Can anyone help me with this issue?
