Hello I've been using Lightroom Classic to manage my DSLR photos for years now. I've upgraded to LR Classic 11.2. I would now like to import my photos from iphone (iOS 15) into Lightroom classic. I've some 30.000 photos on my iPhone, but in the import function Lightroom (iphone connect via USB to Windows 10 PC) recognizes only a fraction of it (max. 5000). Same if I go through Adobe Bridge. Any idea how I could best import my iphone pics into LR as central repository? One option would also be to migrate to LR Cloud but (i) I've not managed to migrate my LR catalogue yet as it is very big and (ii) I've not made up my mind wheter I want to fully move to LR Cloud.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Turn on Sync in Lightroom Classic- AFTER setting the Preferences for the download FOLDER, and 'Date' sub-folder structure. It then happens automatically!

NO, NO, NO! Migrate is a one-way street to move your Lightroom-Classic to the Cloud version. DO NOT do this unless you definitely want Lightroom (Cloud version) to be your primary photo resource.
