Hi,
I am quite new in Lightroom Classic. From what I understand, it is perfectly easy to delete a photo from a catalog or a collection but is it also possible to delete the original file from the hard drive at the same time ? If not, what is your advice to delete permanently unwanted pictures ?
Thanks for your help.
Yes, that is possible. If you delete an image by pressing the Delete key, Lightroom will ask you if you also want to delete it from disk. You must have selected the image in a folder or in 'All Photographs' however, not in a collection. Pressing this key while you are in a collection only removes the image from that collection.
