I understand you can make images available in lightroom cc using collections.  But I notice that this option uploads the full sized file to cc, thereby using up my limited cloud storage of 20gb, also also slows down the sync process.  I often use cc on a small screen tablet or phone.  Is there a way to upload lower resolution images to cc?  The images that I m making dealing with are all high res jpegs.

Please be more specific with your versions of the Lightroom Apps. (No Apps use the "CC" in the name now!)

"Is there a way to upload lower resolution images to cc?"

Lightroom-CLASSIC  will ALWAYS upload (Sync from Collections ) smaller Proxy (Smart Preview) files of reduced pixel dimensions (2560px long edge) to the Cloud ecosystem.  These Proxy files do not occupy any space at all in your 20Gb allocation.

SYNC SETUP IN CLASSIC

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
