Does it matter if I keep all my RAW files on the computer or keep them all on an exterior drive? At this time I am keeping all my RAW files on an exterior drive.
It doesn’t matter, as long as they load fast enough. I have too many images than will fit in the computer’s internal storage, so I’ve kept them all on one or more external drives for years. I do keep the Lightroom Classic catalog itself on my laptop though.
