Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".

I asked for lots of information, it doesn't really help when you don't provide all information requested.

I don't see an answer to:

  • what were you doing when the problem happened
  • full text of any error message
  • screen shots of the problem

Also, is it just Lightroom Classic or Photoshop that crashes; or does the entire computer crash and has to be re-started?

Build 21996?

Is this Windows 10 as stated in System Info (LrC) or Windows 11?

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?
