Using most recent release 12.4 of LrC on a Windows 11 PC I am adding keyword tags but now find that the recently added keyword does not appear in the autocomplete list and not in the Keyword suggestions table. The keyword does appear in the keyword set 'Recent Keywords' The keyword is also in the Keyword list. Note that I possibly have over a thousand keywords and have to nest them otherwise I cannot scroll to the bottom.

Make sure that you have the 'Auto-complete text in Keyword Tags...' preference and 'Offer suggestions from recently entered values' enabled. I've atatched a screenshot indicating where each can be found.
If above doesn't resolve your issue, then you may find resetting the LrC preferences as described in Method 1 of below linked Adobe Help document helps.

Before resetting LR's preferences, try clicking Clear All Suggestion Lists in Catalog Settings > Metadata (see Ian's second screenshot).

I have done all this and the one below and still nothing shows. My lefthand panel tells me there are no photos without a keyword, but they don't show up anywhere. I rely on keywords. This only happend in a recent update.

You've posted in a thread about different symptoms. Please start a new thread describing your issue in detail, and in that new thread:
1. Include full-resolution screenshots (not phone pics) of the ENTIRE LR window illustrating the problem.
2. Do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
