Is it possible to set Lightroom Classic to automatically enable the  "Remove Chromatic Aberration" and "Enable Profile Corrections" features in the Lens Correction module for images already imported into Lightroom??

Thanks,

Steve

Create a Smart Collection like the following

Screen Shot 2022-12-17 at 10.31.38 AM.jpg

Select all the photos in the Smart Collection

Turn AutoSync on

Apply Lens Corretion and CA

Turn AutoSync off

You could create separate Smart Collection of each setting and do the same.

@Seagle515

You can also apply the attached presets on Import or on all your photos in the collections @Bob Somrak has suggested to create.

You can apply the preset via Quick Develop.

.Edit

I created a preset which will apply the "Default Settings" and one that will apply the "Auto Settings".

Don't apply them to photos that already have been edited with your Custom Profle Settings.

Do as Bob said and apply it only to photos that don't have CA Removed nor Profile Correction.

Thanks to you and Bob for taking the time to respond. I have downloaded the presets and will try them out. I didnt realise there were some many options with presets.

Thanks again.

Steve.

You can also create presets that activate only "Remove CA" or "Enable Profile Correction" in your chosen mode (Auto/Default/Custom)

By the way LrC doens't allow to apply multiple presets on import so you if you want to apply more settings on import you will need to incorporate "Remove CA and Enable Lens Correction" is all your presets.

Worth saying also that the "Update with Current Settings " option doesn't update them BUT it literally overwrites them so only the selected checkboxes will be used.

So if you have a preset that changes X settings remember to check those ones  + Remove CA + Enable Lens Correction.

But probably you know this already 🙂
