Lens Profile not working anymore - "Unable to locate a matching profile automatically"

Hello,

For my previous pictures, Lightroom recognized automatically the lense profile used, plus, the list of lenses was pretty full.

Now, for my newest imports, it doesn't recognize the profiles and the list contains only 8 Nikon lenses. I tried to copy paste the settings from a previous pictures to a new one and I tried using a preset but it's not working. I still shoot with RAW pictures.$Lightroom is up to date (v 11.0).

Any ideas how to resolve it?

Thanks

Double-check that the image file that you're working with is actually a Raw file. From your description it sounds as though it might be a Jpeg image.

It's a mistake many people with years of experience have made, as you can see in these forums. With default settings, nothing in LR calls out that you're editing a JPEG rather than a raw -- it's hidden.
