Hello, Sorry for my bad english.
The problem apeard today, I was importing images and they turn more yellow than on the camera.
In library the show yellow, in develop they show normal. But when i tried adjusting the white balance the became more yellow, as in it wouldn't work.

AND if i export, they are yellow as in the library.

It doen't matter how i develop them, the export is also different than te view in develop.

A friend of mine tested is on the laptop they have with lightroom 5.4 (realy old) and there evertything was fine. Just like it always was at my pc. Untill today

I have a PC with windows 11
Use Adobe Lightroom Clasic CC 2020
I Hope anyone can help me.

First of all, try to disable the GPU in Edit > Preferences > Performance. (set Use graphics processor to Off)

If this fixes the issue, make sure that your graphics driver is up to date. Do not rely on Windows for updating the driver, go to the manufacturer's website and download and install the latest driver.

If you already have the latest version, or updating doesn't help, you most likely have a defective monitor profile.

As troubleshooting, and as a possible temporary fix, try setting the monitor profile to sRGB (use Adobe RGB if you have a wide gamut monitor)

If this fixes the issue, you should ideally calibrate your monitor with a hardware calibrator.

This will also create and install a custom monitor profile, which will be more accurate than sRGB.

With Lightroom closed, press the Windows key + R, type colorcpl in the box and press Enter.

Add the sRGB profile, then set it as default.

Do not touch the All Profiles or Advanced tabs, all you need is the Devices tab.

Hi,
Thank you!

The GPU fixes a part of the problem. Yes they look the same in library as in develop as in export. But is still not the color they supposed to be (show on camera or old windows7 notebook, or windows preview)

All the pictures (also older ones) are way more yellow and pink. Also when i try to adjust the white balance with the pipet the turn more yellow instead of less yellow. And not how the pictures are supposed to look how i took them. And it is not a slight difference, i know that it can be a litte off, but this extreme i have never seen.

And the pc wont show the screen at color management. I'm trying to identify screen but nothing apears.

Thankyou

Please explain in detail the problems you have with the color management dialog.

If you post screenshots, do NOT attach them, use the Insert photos button in the toolbar.

Also note that the desktop and File explorer are not color managed, and can not be expected to display correct colors.

Setup: desktop, windows 11, desktop 4 years old, screen 8 years old, Lightroom classic cc 2020

1. I make a picture,
2. it looks fine on camera (like normal)
3. I transfer the pictures to my hard drive, preview looks normal,
4. I import them in Lightroom, import preview looks normal
5. Open library. Pictures messed up, all yellow, like a wrong white balance
6 i open develop, everything looks fine again. I’m releved. (no change only export to jpg)
7. I open export all yellow again like in the library
Setup 1.png
I’m Stressed.

- I do the same ad an old version of Lightroom 5.4
Same problem. Also older pictures with snow have the same problem now.

- I Start my old notebook Setup: (notebook, windows 7, total 11 years old, Lightroom 5.4)
Everything works like it used to. Picture never turned yellow.

But unfortuantly the laptop is to old and to slow to realy use.

What i tried: Turning off GPU
Result:

1. I make a picture,
2. it looks fine on camera (like normal)
3. I transfer the pictures to my hard drive, preview looks normal,
4. I import them in Lightroom, import preview looks normal
5. Open library. Pictures messed up, all yellow, like a wrong white balance
6 i open develop, everything still lookes yellow
7. I try using pipet for white balance. Lightroom adjust is wrong (more yellow)
8. I open export yellow again like in the library (not like develop)

Setup 4.png

And I know people will say 'that is a different screen on the notebook and that's why it is different' and yes I know that every screen is different. But please believe me when I say that my desktop screen was always nearly the same as my notebook screen. Not so much different.

I use Lightroom for almost 10 years, I had in my first year of education 6 classes in photography and editing. So I really really know there can be difference. But for my PC this is not normal. It was never like this.

Does this make it better to understand?

Please provide details about the problems you have with the color management dialog, as I requested.

If you can't open it, try accessing it from the control panel.

Color managed applications use the monitor profile to display correct colors. The colors are converted from the document profile to the monitor profile. The profile can become corrupted, or a Windows update might install a bad profile from the monitor manufacturer. These profiles are often defective out of the box.

Applications without color management do not use the monitor profile, and will not be affected by a bad profile.

Different color managed applications may react differently to a bad profile, some might display correct colors, and others might display wrong colors.

In what applications are you viewing the exported file?

Also, you did not tell us if you tried updating your graphics driver.

It might be helpful if you went to Help > System Info in LrC, click the Copy button, and paste in a new post here.
