Based on previous versions of LR my photo was not over exposed when shooting After updating to 13.01 This shot appears completely over exposed to be beyond use. I am running windows 11 64 bit, an AMD radeon 580X graphics card in HDR Mode. My screen is calibrated.
Did you restart LrC after disabling HDR?
And, do images display like this in Library as well, or is it only in Develop?
Another thing to try is to disable the GPU in Preferences > Performance.

I question the wisdom of paying for broken software

And does not appear to match the histogram. Clearly has blown whites in loupe view, but no clipping to the right on histogram.
If you change from that Adobe Color (standard) profile to a camera matching profile does anything improve?
Ahh, one thing to note:
"graphics card in HDR Mode"
One question, and one observation.
Follwup
AMD radeon 580X graphics card in HDR Mode
So the GPU is in HDR mode, what about Windows (display settings) , and what about the monitor (HDR may or may not be automatic). All that only if you click on that HDR option.

Moniter supports hdr mode windows is in hdr mode. My configuration worked in previous versions of LRC. Changing to camera profile is actually worse than adobe color, though it was better in the prior version. Even taking everythng out of hdr mode does not fix this problem.

For comparison I will put up the same image as imported to lrc 12.5 where it renders correctly. note the correct color of the pumpkins and an image taat matches the histogram. The top of the white wall is not blow out as it shows in v13. Both are using adobe color and both are imports of the same image. Sure hoping that this will get fixed son as I really want to test out some of those new v13 features like lens blur

Interestng I checked in 12.5 and my GPU was disabled by default. in 13 it became enabled by default. Disabling it corrected the issue, but of course it advises that it reduces performance. I would be curious to understand why hardware acceleration would do anything to cause this type of issue, though turning off the gpu certainly corrected the problem for now.
