Lightroom 15.0, 15.1. Images are "missing"/not loading

Just updated catalog for 15.0.  Now, many images will not load ("loading"....).  Looking into it, these images were edited in the earlier version.  They are .psd files.  Lightroom will not open them, but I can open and edit in Photoshop.  Also, Lightroom states that many files are missing (even though they are on the HD).   I tried Sync, but the only files brought back in were "rejected" from the library.  

Next, some photos are simply gone.  There were images I spent more time on with edits in and out of Lightroom.  Luckily, they were on a separate backup.  However, this was one folder that a client from many months ago wanted more copies.  My Lightroom database has tens of thousands images.  I hate to think this issue would extend throughout my library.  I'm not saying Lightroom deleted images, but I never purposely delete images, especially ones I spend time on.

Further from above...I edited with AI within Lightroom.  These files were saved in Lightroom as .psd files.  The files that are simply gone with edited with AI in Lightroom, then further edited in Photoshop.  I have not looked into this folder in months, so I can't say for sure when they went missing.

Hi @dpick2, thanks for reaching out!
Could you double-check that you’re working in the correct catalog and not a backup one? Also, please make sure your hard drive connection is solid, maybe try a different port or cable. By any chance, did you move your files to a different location outside of Lightroom?
If possible, sharing a screenshot or screen recording of the issue would be super helpful. Do your images show up as gray squares or with exclamation marks?
