Lightroom 5.7 - The map disappeared and the GPS function doesn't seems to have the right GPS number

Lightroom 5.7 - The map disappeared and the GPS function doesn't seems to have the right GPS number. I'm using an Apple Laptop computer. I'm up todate with my computer. In Lightroom it says the Map is offline. I don't know what to do. Any suggstions?

"I believe" the map technology that was utilized in Lightroom 5.7 was discontinued and completely replaced in later versions. Lightroom 5.7 is very old and no longer supported by Adobe, hasn't been updated in years. The current version that placed it is Lightroom Classic, and is up to version 12.01. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe there is anything you can do to resolve the issue other than subscribe to the current version.

My understanding matches James; that version is dead in terms of Maps working AFAIK.
