Lightroom 6.14 crashes on startup on macOS Monterey 12.01

Lightroom 6.14 did run fine over the past years. Now the programm crashes on startup under macOS Monterey 12.01. Any advice?

We're sorry about the trouble due Lightroom 6.14 crashing on launch. The Lightroom version you're using was not designed for nor has been tested on macOS Catalina or higher & hence may not be compatible.
