At the very least, you'll need assistance directly from Adobe to do this. Hopefully, they still can on their end.

It's as thedigitaldog indicates. You can reach out to an Adobe Employee by the name of Carissa Massongill via a private message. Just click on the envelope icon in the top right of the forum.

Hello
I had a running Lightroom 6 licence on my old computer.
Now I reinstalled Windows and Lightroom 6, however the activation of LR 6 does not work. A message comes up that I can't activate my licence since it is still activated on another comuputer. I logged into my Adobe Account to deactivate the licence on my old machine however apperntly there are no activeted licences related to my Adobe ID. What can I do?

For Lr 6, the activations are tied to the serial number and not to your Adobe ID. Anyway, a potential solution is here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lightroom-6-deactivation-help/m-p/12915...

Thank you for your reply. I reached out to Carissa (the Adobe employee mentioned in the article) but I didn't get a reply. Are there any other Adobe employees who could help?
