Hello,

A wedding album I'm trying to edit keeps freezing my Lightroom classic. It's not a storage issue, it won't work on my max either that has 2tb of storage available. I'm not sure what to do. All my photos are synced. I have an external hard drive that the photos were supposedly stored on, but I can't retrieve the catalog from it. I go on and it does not show. I'm lost.

Have you tried to copy the appropriate catalog to the internal hard drive and open it from there?

I can not find the catalog on my hard drive. I have no idea where it is or
how to locate that specific one. --

Please do a search, using your operating system's search feature, of all disks and all folders, for files whose name ends with .LRCAT. These are your catalog files. One of these is the one you want.

P.S.: It is always a good idea to know where your catalogs are stored.
