My friend has a Mac running macOS Big Sur 10.16.0 and the latest iteration of Lightroom Classic.
If she closes lightroom at the end of the day and launches again in the morning, she gets a message about an unexplained error with her Lightroom catalog. Manually attempting to launch her catalog delivers the same message. Only solution is a reboot and then it works as normal. Any thoughts on what could be the issue?

Problem somewhat solved. She has three external drives on her Mac, one of which contain her catalog. The real issue was her drive with the catalog was not "waking" from sleep. It was plugged into a hub and that might be the reason although it should still wake.Anyways...plugged into the Mac rather than the hub, the drive opens from sleep and viola! Lightroom will launch without a restart.

She puts her Mac to "sleep" in the evening, after closing LR. The error message occurs the following morning on launch. Just tried to replicate it now with sleep mode and all worked fine. Stay tuned. We will see what happens tomorrow.
