Lightroom catalogue image editing not updating anymore

I am working with Lightroom Classic (main catalogue) and the mobile version on my iPad (for import and mobile editing).  For some reason, it no longer syncs the edits that I have made to pictures on my iPad in a synchronised collection. On both devices, the images appear synced, but on the PC, the editing status is not updated. I checked that the changes in the images are indeed synced to my Adobe cloud by installing the mobile LR version on my PC, and the edits also show up there.

One possible explanation I have is that it is due to me having switched between the Adobe accounts on my PC as I had to use my other subscription to work on some other files. At that time I once opened LR and it tried to sync pictures to this other account from my main LR catalogue which I immediately paused. I believe LR might have some faulty connection now between the LR catalogue and the two Adobe accounts. Now as I logged in with my normal account I can't see the changes I made to the images. However, new images that I now import to my iPad sync as usual and show up on my PC with edits.

How can I "re-connect" the edits of my iPad pictures to the main LR catalogue?

"Lightroom Classic Version Number: 7.1.2"

That is not Lightroom Classic, but Lightroom (desktop). I moved your message to the appropriate forum.

Thanks Johan for checking. I realised I copied indeed the wrong version number - I am actually using Lightroom Classic with the version: 13.1

Hey Rikk, that is not the issue I am having. In my case, I am editing on my mobile device and the changes are synched in the cloud but Lightroom Classic is not receiving the changes, despite having the exact image marked as synced in the classic library. This problem only applies for a subset of my pictures that I have edited in a specific time period. The changes I made after that period to new pictures are synced as expected. I just now have a large chunk of a few hundred of photos, of which my ratings and edits are not synced anymore.
