Lightroom causing other processes stuck

When editing photos in LR, my music playing on background gets stuck during operations like zooming in / out the picture. This is extremely annoying and started to happen only after the latest LR update (I use Lightroom Classic 12.5). I tried to set the LR process priority to lowest, or set affinity to not utilize all CPU cores. Didn't help.
I believe this is a LR software issue as I didn't change my hardware recently. My system has 8 physical (16 logical) CPU cores, 32GB of RAM, 6GB of VRAM.

Let me update this topic a bit:
This seems to only happen when I use an audio device connected to my PC via USB-C. Therefore I started to think it might be a Windows or my motherboard issue rather than a LR issue. Probably it is also not related to the LR update but start using of USB-C.
