Lightroom Class 15.1 on Tahoe 26.1

New Here ,

I  updated my macbook pro to Tahoe 26.1 and masking is no longer working in Lightroom Classic 15.1. I've done suggested work arounds to no avail. I have 16GB and Metal 4 with Apple M1 Pro chip. Will Lightroom Classic be updated soon or is there something else I need to do? This is very frustrating!

Hi @sherriewhite,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating this is, especially when core tools like masking stop working after an OS update.

To help us narrow this down and move it forward correctly, could you please share the following:

• Your System Info from Lightroom Classic
– Lightroom Classic > Help > System Info
– Copy and paste it directly into your reply

• A short screen recording showing the masking workflow in Lightroom Classic 15.1 and what happens when it fails

• Please also confirm whether masking works for you in:
– Lightroom (cloud-based desktop app), if installed
– Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3Yrgxkj)

This will help us determine whether the issue is specific to Lightroom Classic on macOS Tahoe 26.1 or more broadly tied to your setup.

Once we have this information, we can review the next steps and involve engineering if needed.

Best regards,
Anshul Saini
