Since some days, my Lightroom classic 14.1.1 run on latest MACOS version (15.2) on M2 max crash after some seconds after launch even without doing anything.
I tried to stop synchro and face recognition without improvement.
I tried to downgrade to 14.1 with worked fine without improvement.
Now back to 14.1.1 and same problem.
Send reports to Adobe each time.
Any clue ?
Regards

If you suspect your catalog, you have two options:
1. Restore from a recent backup or
2. Contact Adobe Customer Care and have them perform a repair of your catalog.
Contact Adobe Customer Care at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/what-contact-options.html. Scroll to the bottom and click on the “Start Now” live chat link in the lower right of this page. Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot.

We’ve removed your pasted Crash Report from this post. Crash reports are of little use in a vacuum. It is far more important to submit the Crash Report with your email attached so it can be reviewed in full by the engineering staff. Additionally, posting this much text into a forum post breaks several forum features, including translation. Lastly, Community Experts are not likely to scroll dozens of pages to review the information here. If you feel you must post a report in addition to submitting it via the dialog, please use an attachment instead.
Thank you for your understanding.

This appears to be an Apple Crash Report and not an Adobe report. I would refer you to your OS for resolving this.

Before I had a second box witch ask me if I want to send a report to Adobe and ask me to confirm my email to be contacted by Adobe.
The second option was to send this automaticaly.
Since I flagged that, I have only one dialog after the crash.
How can I reactivate the manual sending to Adobe ?
Regards.

Resetting your preferences should reenable this.
This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.
If you are using Lightroom Desktop, it can change your local storage location. Please review this setting after resetting preferences.
Reset Procedure:
1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.
Unfortunately, automated reports where you've not filled in the email will continue to be sent as anonymous.
It would be prudent to reset your warning dialogs inside of Lightroom preferences as well. Preferences>General [Reset all warning dialogs]

As my last backup was corrupted (I thing Lightroom crashed during the backup) I restore the former one and lightroom is working fine again.
Thanks for your support.

Hello,
I would like to re-open this thread.
After some days of correct working, was geopositionning picture in the map module.
Lightroom crashed.
Since when I restrart it, it crashes after some seconds.
I send at least 3 reports on the email adress I use for this forum and one whith a comment.
For sure I can take the last backup and reconfigure lightroom, but I whould like to find the root cause.
Regards.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no new crash reports in our system.
Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?
Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Apple’s?
The next time you experience a crash, fill out the dialog-including your email address, screenshot the dialog, submit the dialog, and then post the screenshot here in this thread.
Thanks!

Hello @Rikk Flohr: Photography , This is what I have done, as you can see.

Well, the good news is that you posted the screenshot - thank you!
The bad news is that I still have no crash reports in our system for you. I am seeing reports from others that were reported as late as an hour or two ago.
I hate to ask but can we triple-check the email you are using to submit these?

One of our engineers had an idea. Since you don't need to use the email and I need to filter by it, try using hotmail.com instead of hotmail.be in the address you submit with the crash report and I will see if that shows up. No need to set it up with MS just type it into the field before submitting.

just done.
Mail address changed to xxx@hotmail.com in the crash dialog.

Thank you for making the attempt. Unfortunately, I still cannot find any crash reports under this address. I have turned this over to our Crash Reporter team for review.
One question going back to your original post: If you launch the application and do nothing, do you still crash?

Yes Lightroom crashes (Hopefully not me 😉 ).
Thi is why it is so easy to reproduce the problem and generate reports.
