Lightroom classic 9.2 won't let me update

I'm currently running Lightroom classic version 9.2. I know there is an update and would like to install it to get the app up to date.

I'll launch LR, click on Help and then "Updates...", but nothing happens. No window pops up, nothing at all, other than the menu closing when I click on updates.

Has anyone else had this? How do I get the app to update when it won't let me?

I would ask, and maybe should still ask. What is your MACOS?

Old school, and just so wrong.

Bring up your copy of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App. You use that to update/upgrade the Adobe applications.

The Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App is used fir (amongst other things, this list not complete)

  • Install the Adobe applications that are included in your Adobe Plan you have subscribed to
  • Authenticate your subscription (monthly, or when you sign in)
  • Activate the Adobe applications you have installed
  • Update/Upgrade the Adobe applications you have installed
  • Uninstall the applications
  • Deactivate the applications (if you sign out they will be deactivated)
  • Install additions
  • Install Fonts
  • etc.
