Lightroom Classic Crashing

Ever since I updates to the newest Monterey OS and updated my Lightroom to the newest version yesterday, my lightroom has been crashing unexpectedly and then not letting me reopen. It sys unable to reopen becasue my lightroom catalog is open somewhere else. It is literally killing me. I have already tried restarting the computer, deleting the Lrcat.lock file and it lets me reopen but then just crashes again. 
This is insane and it is the buiest part of my year so I am dying. Please help!

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue. 

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".
