Actualemnte utilizo la última versión de Lightroom Classic y dejó de funcionar de forma inexplicable. Fue utlizado hace un par de días sin problemas. Alguien sabe que puede ser?, queda en procesos como funcionando pero no se muestra nada en pantalla.

I'm currently using the latest version of Lightroom Classic and it inexplicably stopped working. It was used a couple of days ago without problems. Does anyone know what it can be?, it remains in processes as working but nothing is shown on the screen.

 

Please describe "inexplicably stopped working" in detail. Exactly what does happen?

Hello and thanks for the reply. I can not open Lightroom Classic app from Creative Cloud pannel or even from the current access from my desktop. It stop working without showing any error. The status from Cloud pannel says it´s working but nothing appears. Only showing activity like a process. I tried to uninstall and install but nothing changes.

Please check if there's a .lock file next to the LR catalog in the appropriate folder.

If there's such a .lock file it must be deleted manually. More informations about this, you'll find here:

The Lightroom catalog cannot be opened because another application already has it opened - lrcat.loc...

 

If this doesn't help you can try to reset the LR preferences to the default settings.

How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

The next is to try the following steps:

  • Close Lightroom
  • Backup the folder : C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom to a save location and then rename it to LightroomOld
  • Restart Lightroom

Another try is to hold the Ctrl-Key while starting LrC. This opens a catalog selection dialog.

Select the appropriate catalog and let check it – note the checkmark to check its integrity. If that does not help, try to create a new one and see if this catalog then works. You could then try to import your current catalog into the new one.

 

If this already doesn't help, provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

 

What has been changesd on your system before the issue occur?

 

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 -- LR-Classic 14 - Photoshop 26 - Nik Collection 7 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz PhotoAI 3

Thanks everyone for your kind help, after installing an older version (13) while starting it showed a catalog conflict which did not happen at versión 14. After fixing this catalog issue the problem was solved. I don´t know why this error was not showed in the last update. Thanks!
