I'm really struggling. Recently upgraded to a M3 Pro, 18 GB MacBook Pro. When I first got it the DeNoise feature FLEWWWW by but now it takes roughly two minutes per picture, this is really disrupting my workflow, any tips? I specifically got the 18GB to handle editing so feeling a little lost.

Shooting on a Canon R6 Mark II and Canon R5 for reference.

Have you upgraded to LrC 14.x recently? If so, that's the reason. Adobe Denoise used the neural engine of the M series in the the previous version of LrC. They found that the quality of that process was not up to standards, so in the latest version they have turned off using the Mac M series neural engine.

While the lack of a bug-free Mac OS neural engine has slowed down Denoise, it still goes very fast on newer Macs. For example, my LR 14.1.1 / Macbook Pro Apple M2 Max (2023) / Mac OS 15.2 denoises a Canon R6 II raw in 14 seconds. So something's not right with your installation...

As a next step, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
