Lightroom Classic Does Not Import HVEC Files From Sony a7SIII

LRC skips importing .mp4 files from Sony A7sIII (10it, 422) showing an error that the file format is not supported.

I believe it does not support 10bit yet. Is there an ETA to suport such files?

Hi Daniel,

We're sorry for the file format issue. Which Lightroom Classic version do you have installed? Also, could you please share a couple of .mp4 files via Creative Cloud or Dropbox and we can try to import the same at our end? The version of LRC is v10.1.1

Worked OK on my Windows PC.  About reports Lightroom Classic10.1.1 and Adobe Camera Raw 13.1

That error suggests you may have the files open in some other program.  I've solved it occasionally by closing, rebooting and trying again.

Thanks - I am running on Mac (Catalina) - I wonder if it has anything to do with it.

Interestingly, that sample video imports and plays in my LR 10.1.1 / Windows 10 but not in my 10.1.1 / Mac OS 10.15.7.
