Lightroom classic glitch when clicking photo with mouse it wont select

Hi. LRC has an issue when you would click a photo with the mouse it doesnt show that shot on the big screen. I have to click on another photo then shuffle back to the one I want to click for it to finally switch it on the screen. it happens all the time.

Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
