Lightroom Classic has stopped displaying any of the meta data for images that HAVE meta data

Working with Lightoom Classic I am used to switching to the Library mode to see the GPS and location details.

After being away for a week Lightoom now displays no GPS details in the panel it used to a week ago.

If I export a file that appears to have no GPS the meta tags are there when opened in Photoshop.

The only meta that does show is the address of the location, but NOTHING else, not even the file name.

I have tried all the combinations of Presets but none of them show any more information.

I see in preferences I can restore various preferences but have no idea which one of these will do this? I have lots of other settings such as sync preferences I do NOT want to lose so am reluctant to click on all of them in the hope it might fix the problem.

Any ideas?
