Lightroom Classic isn't opening at all

I don't know what is going on.  I can't even open Lightroom classic after this latest update.  My creative cloud says it is updated.  I can open the Lightroom mobile version, but I prefer to use my Lightroom classic most of the time.  Is anyone else having problems? Windows 10 PC.

Have you checked for a lock file that did not get deleted?

Please state the version NUMBER of your Lightroom Classic.

Please state the release NUMBER of your Windows 10.

We need the NUMBERs and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date".

What happens why you try to open Lightroom Classic? How far does it get? Describe what happens. If there is an error message, please quote the exact complete unedited word-for-word error message.
