IS my Macbook hacked, why would it lose all of it's LR Classic brushes that I had installed in it about a month ago. It has had maybe 1 update since then. I have a 2020 Macbook Pro and am using the latest update of LR Classic.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

What brushes are you referring to? Note that the masking was completely revamped some time ago and this panel now works completely differently. Your old 'brushes' (perhaps you mean local adjustment presets?) perhaps are no longer compatible with the newer system?

Hackers do not waste their time hiding Lightroom brushes. They have other motives if they can hack you. Did you perhaps enable (or disable) 'Store Presets with this catalog'?
