Lightroom Classic Masking tool

I'm having issues with my masking tool in lightroom today.  Normally its very easy to use and gives me options to select subject, brush etc.  Today its allowing me to select once but doesnt allow me to see the mask and doesnt give the option of creating another mask.  Anyone else having issues today?

I actually shut down Lightroom and restarted it and it worked

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.
