Lightroom Classic recognizes my Nikon but doesn't allow me to upload.

I use a Mac Book Pro, Venture 13.1.  This has been an ongoing problem for three weeks.  I've contacted Adobe three times.  They are "aware of the issue and working a solution".  Is there a work around?  Clearly Adobe is clueless.

Thanks for any input,

Lane

Perhaps you could describe the problem in more detail, including the following basic information

Nikon D810 is the camera.  There are no error messages.  LC recognizes the camera but doesn't allow me to upload.

Upload? Not Import?

Are you refering to Lightroom Classic? Currently that would be v12.2

or

Are you refering to Lightroom Ecosystem (Cloud Based)? Currently that would be v6.2 v6.1

In either case, what specific version?

I think you mean 12.1 or 6.1

UPLOAD vs TETHER

Are you actually trying to copy images from the camera to the catalog (Import) or is this about Tethering the camera to the computer?

I use a cable directly from the Nikon to LC.  It stopped working 3 weeks ago.

Yes there is a known issue with connecting Nikon Cameras with a USB cable. Have you tried using a card reader instead of connecting the Camera?

See the screen capture. Maybe you can try updating your system to macOS 13.2 to see if it helps. The update was release a couple days ago.
